Let’s say, for instance, that you are selling backup solutions for computers. Your story would relate to that. A person loses all of their hard work and information off of their hard drive – this would be a great story to start out with! They could not recover the information because they never backed up their hard drive. Then you can talk about how they could have prevented it. It is very easy to do, and you will have fun putting this together.

You can look around you and begin paying attention to how stories are used online and in offline marketing. This particular strategy has been used for years by corporations of all sizes. Storytelling is something that small businesses have not been using, but are now beginning to use it more and more.
